Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actress. Numerous accolades have been awarded to her, including the Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe, five Emmy Award nominations, as well as an BAFTA nomination. She is a part of the Barrymore family and is the great-granddaughter John Barrymore. Barrymore became a popular child actor because of her part in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Following a highly publicized childhood plagued by drugs and alcohol abuse, she published an autobiography Little Girl Lost. Later, she was in a number of successful films in the 1990s, which included Poison Ivy Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore was a co-star with Adam Sandler on a few films, including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended.
