 Jimmy Donaldson, also known as MrBeast (born on May 7, 1998) is an American YouTuber and an entrepreneur. He is most well-known for creating YouTube videos that are focused on expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson began uploading videos on YouTube in 2012, at the age of 13, under the handle "MrBeast6000" His early content included everything from "Let's Plays to "videos that estimated the amount of money other YouTubers have." The channel went viral in the year 2017 following his "counting to 100,000" video received tens of thousands of views in just a couple of days, and he has grown in popularity since then, with many of his videos earning thousands of views.Over time his style of content has changed to include challenge and donation videos that award thousands of dollars, video that include difficult tasks or survival challenges as well as original videos. Once his channel took off, Donaldson hired several of his former classmates to help him run the growing business. MrBeast is Donaldson's primary YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million subscribers on July 28, 2022.
