Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper, singer and songwriter as well as record producer. His stage name is the combination of the name of a favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. In April 2013, he signed joint recording contracts with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut full length album, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. He followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was his debut studio album. It included the smash song "Antidote". The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) earned him his first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott followed that year with a joint album titled Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the name Huncho Jack. The band's third studio album Astroworld was received acclaim by critics. The album produced his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. In the latter part of 2019, Scott's record label Cactus Jack Records released the compilation album JackBoys, which topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first artist on the Hot 100 to release three singles at number one in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
